Download the osu! Lazer client, DO NOT move to /Application to replace the old client yet. It’s not a great solution if you want to use OS X but most games don’t run on Mac anyway so I just end up using the Windows version. The way I did it is to download bootcamp (which is basically a copy of windows) and download osu from there.
